Mary's Guide To Studying The Night Before An Exam.
1. Having finished your afternoon exam at 5.30pm, you should not go home and study. You should celebrate your relief with your classmates, by having a few drinks, but you should go home early.
2. At 10pm, you should think about leaving.
3. Then, G-Money will text you, and say he can give you a ride home at 11.30pm.
4. You should accept.
5. At 11.30pm, you should be collected, then driven around Karori in the wrong direction, because G-Money doesn't know the way, and you are tipsy.
6. When you finally get back to your flat, you should politely ask G-Money for a cup of tea.
7. He will accept.
8. He will then attempt to get bbc.co.uk to play you some music. Then he will have to download real player, which will take 3/4 of an hour.
9. Your computer should then crash, so he will have to do it again.
10. While it is downloading, you should go to McDonalds and get drive through. Mmmm...nuggets.
11. Having done that, you should return to your flat, install realplayer and go to bed.
The time is now 2am.

I did get up at 7.45 this morning though, so I'm doing well. Have read all the lecture notes up to week 6 [and all, prior to today.] Am thinking will not be fun exam, but have hope.

Things that amuse and ultimately concern me #24

Jon Toogood from Shihad sounds frighteningly like what Ross from Friends would sound like if he joined a rock band. Listen to the General Electric. It's HIM!

Dude. It's the Byron Factor. JC, Ross, now Jon. Does this make him an Oram?

Oram and McCullum were batting together yesterday. It made me smile. McCullum looked so happy when he got his century. Little man!

It is a very sad day indeed when the number of sauce bottles outnumbers items of food in your fridge.

Methinks I should go to the supermarket tomorrow.

Libera me, Domine, de morte aeterna, in die illa tremenda, in die illa...

Requiems are fun. I can pretend I speak Latin.

And now to sleep, for tomorrow I must write half an essay and study for an exam. Excellent.

P.S. McCullum apparently got 100! Yay McCullum! You're so short!

Alright kids, what should Steff be doing at the moment?

I just feel the urge to point out that the amount of words I've written on this thing in the past week or so could have made up an essay or two. It feels like I'm wasting words.

If only I could apply myself.

P.S. I passed my psyc test. 41/60. Which is 1 mark more than the last test. Which I studied a little bit more for. My theory continues to be supported...

Cabin fever.

G-Money describes cabin fever as the madness that ensues when he and Mary are stuck in a car together for extended periods of time. I would like to offer an alternative definition:

Cabin fever is what you have when you are alone in your apartment, shivering, surrounded by open books and a computer, and giggling about somebody's toes.

Fuck the rain, I'm going out.

Damn the rain.

I want to go to the library, but it's a tad wet. And cold. Not that I'm not cold already. Damn heating that only runs when it's already too hot.

I may have to continue studying. But who wants to do that?
