Ten Things.

Well, I've given myself a title there. Now to see if I can think of stuff. It was going to be ten interesting things, but I think that's a bit much of a challenge.

1. The All Blacks stood all over England [the world champions] at last weekends test in the House of Pain. Also known as Carisbrook. It's a stadium. 36-3. We rock. However, Richie McCaw is concussed and might not be playing in the test at Eden Park.

This is rugby, by the way.

2. In the cricket, the Black Caps had so many injuries in the second test at Headingley, they could barely field a full team. Really barely. They had about four substitute fielders or something. Is it any wonder we lost every game in the series? *cringe*

3. To leave sport, it costs anywhere from $85 upwards to go bungy jumping in Queenstown. [that might be sport. never mind]. I want to go, but a) i don't have the money, and b) i'm terrified of heights, which might make it less fun, somehow.

4. Monarch of the Glen is a brilliant tv programme. Not only does it have Archie on it, *sigh*, but it is highly amusing and Duncan makes me laugh. and it's all scottish and great.

5. Maybe I should have made it five things.
I had my first exam on tuesday and i was the first person to leave, which was quite embarrassing. It was in a giant lecture theatre and everyone else was still writing like crazy. So I don't know what that means.

6. Tennessee Ernie Ford sang Sixteen Tons. "You dig sixteen tons and what do you get...." I have had the same 6 or 7 songs on repeat in winamp all week. I think I'll go mad.

7. Channel Three has the Simpsons on EVERY night, and twice on wednesdays. I think this is excessive and brain-rotting, but the Simpsons does make some valid social comments. For example, tonight was obesity, little girls being told to dress like whores, and kids being abandoned by the system. So that's great.I think.

8. New Zealand music is in general good, but is suffering from Idol fever. Ben [he's the Idol] apparently wants to get away from the Idol-ness and into making his own music and being famous in his own right. Good luck, buddy.

9. My little brother has his motorcycle licence. Safe. That's like me getting my gun licence. [Hmm.]

10. I was on a roll for a second there, but now I'm stuck. I should go study. I have two exams this week. Wish me luck!
