Well, it's been a while.
So, what has happened in the last month or so? WELL....
1. Found a flat. Had three flatmates. Four including me. All was peachy sweet.
2. [Two weeks later.] 2 of said flatmates pulled out, refused to pay anything, and buggered off, one week before taking up of signed year-long lease.
3. My father had serious medical problems and had to have a big operation.
4. My brother [darling that he is] lent me seriously large amounts of money to cover rent while looking for new flatmates.
5. We found a new flatmate. 3 hours later, she rung up and pulled out.
6. Then we found another one. He stayed. And is still there.
7. Then [eventually] we found another one. He moved in on monday.
So it's all fun and games and slowly coming right. I've missed out several significant events, I feel sure, but ...what can you do? Oh yeah, my computer isn't working either so I'm writing this on the university library computer.
It's been raining all february here so my flat's nice and damp [but not as damp as elsewhere in the lower north island....we had MASSIVE floods. Think $200 million in flood damage repair.]
And the Lord of the Rings did good in the Oscars. Yay. And I lost my bet with Tim [that is wouldn't]. Not Yay.
And if I could think of something interesting to say I could say it.....
